Good morning Mick and all from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast.
I’m knackered today. I have overfilled this week and am paying the price. Off later to pick up 89 year old good friend for lunch at country pub. He’s in amazing shape, slim, walks everywhere and talks the hind leg off a donkey. A very positive person. A face time with another friend for catch up when I get back and a grocery shop. Tomorrow singing again and quite a bit to organise for the gig, frock etc etc. Bought some new Spanx which seem to do a slightly better job than the control gear I have?
Yesterday at music club and I thought my temper had cooled with age, but not so, very irritated by slow member messing around and holding things up. I need to watch my blood pressure…
Last night to local production by youth theatre which was fabulous. Slick and entertaining. I had to drag myself there as so much on, but it was a real tonic.
Thoughts to Chrissielou and kittlylester through these difficult times and the Guggenheim museum must be fascinating BlueSapphire, she was a very interesting woman.
Will read through properly later.

Good morning all. The sky which has been covered in thick grey cloud all morning so far, has a last a glimmer of sun trying to break through. Thunder storms are forecast but not a drop of rain unfortunately. We’ve had a few drops now and then but never more than enough to make dusty sponges all over the car and remaining struggling plants.

Will catch up with you all later.

Good morning Mick, Annie, and all. My lovely cleaning lady has been here and worked her magic.
I had been having a good couple if weeks, energy wise, but over did things on Monday. So yesterday was wiped out. Unfortunately I had to have a blood test and it wouldn't stop bleeding. The Church cafe, where I had gone to recover, came to my rescue with more plasters etc, and lots of sympathy.
I am due my regular infusion this afternoon , after a phone call from the oncologist nurse. She is late!

I haven't had time to read all of the posts properly yet, but did see that Marydoll had bagged some lovely bargains. Jealous! Moi?
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning from warm and sunny West Sussex. We have had a little, gentle rain in the past few days so the gardens are grateful.

We had had friends staying for a few days. We’ve not seen them since before Covid so had a lovely catch-up. I am now feeling very tired so might need a power nap before packing the campervan ready for a weekend at a festival in Northamptonshire. Then north next week for another stay in our East Lothian flat near DD2 and family. DD1 & SiL are planning to use the flat to visit DD2 after depositing DGD in Salford to start university. DH and I will go west or north on a tour with the van as the flat only has one bedroom. I am looking forward to seeing some of the places on my extensive list. Please sort the weather for us, Scottish grans ?

Good to follow those enjoying holidays. Thoughts with others having medical tests and treatments.
