Not as old as yours Oopsminty but I have lots of decorations from the 1950s and 1960s. Probably the oldest from 1950 so that would be only 69!

They range from stunning glass pointy drop baubles to shiny “paper” chains, mini Christmas trees (think green, decorated bottle brush maybe 4” tall) and brass candle-holders.
I have recently been given some of my mother-in-law’s decorations which look similarly old. These ones are glass table ornaments wired together into “arrangements” representing flowers and candles. Very light and airy. Not sure how old they are. Am curious now so will ask her.

I have an angel that my mother had as a child.

Mum died last year at the age of 88 so we reckon our tatty, but beautiful angel, must be at least 80

I love seeing her when she comes out of her special padded box

I have several Christmas decorations which I bought from a church fete back in 1988. I remember buying them at the time and they were so beautifully made by a church member. I still use them, however I have bought a new Christmas tree this year and because of that I thought I also may change some of the decor which I have used in my lounge for a long time now. It will be a big decision to make I know that sounds sad but it's part of Christmas for the family and my DD was there when I bought them so feel a bit bad not using them esp when it is only once a year. I shall ponder over this decision.

We still have a top of the tree fairy made by a dd out of a gold doiley etc. at nursery when she was 3. She's 42 now.

Also still have 3 plastic bells, different colours, that go back a lot longer, to when I was a small child and we only ever had a little tree that was dug up from the garden every year, poor thing. I loved them then and could never get rid of them, though anybody else would very likely think them only fit for the bin now.

Nothing very old and beautiful I'm afraid, though I'm sure others will have.
