We're not saying that Christmas is all about the shopping, obviously. BUT it's also fair to say that at this time of the year there are an awful lot of good buys to be had. If anyone's found any particularly bargains please do pop a link on this thread to share with others.

In the office we've got our eyes on:
- 20% off skincare at John Lewis,
- Up to 50% off at Lakeland (the KitchenAid mixer is £250 off!)
- Plus a few nice bits 50% off at White Stuff.

Over to you!

Good offers on baby and toddlers' books at The Works; some nice sets for little hands.

Pandora 20% off for Black Friday. Not sure how long it lasts.

Nonnie Thu 28-Nov-19 16:22:58

White Stuff 20% off everything. I was going there anyway so was delighted.

If you have a John Lewis card they will give you £5 off a beauty product if you take in 5 empty beauty products, not nail varnish or aerosols. I think this lasts until end of January. It made me turn out the drawer with all the things I might use one day!

Nonnie Thu 28-Nov-19 16:23:27

Sorry not White Stuff I meant White Company!!!

nanamac77 Thu 28-Nov-19 16:53:00

I think White Stuff is also doing up to 50% off on some lines

Does anyone know of any discounts on Apple IPad minis? Mine is just about on its last legs and I know they are rarely reduced. I think I need the one with the bigger memory to run all the apps I have installed to control various security, heating and phone systems.

I just picked up a 1/2 price Playmobile set at Morrisons. They had the country farm and a princess castle set.

I have just banged a bargain from Walls and floors tile store, managed to get some new kitchen tiles from their clearance range end of line that l looked at during the summer at full price. 9 square metres for £19 a metre reduced from £38, then an extra discount at the checkout for Black Friday, which reduced the lot by a further 15%. I’m well pleased with that, and a lovely Cashmere colour to match my new kitchen units.

I'm not sure this thread is good for me! I only read the OP and looked at White Stuff. There are two items I fancy but neither are in the sale sad. I'm only ordering one though so it's equal to the amount I would have paid if there had been savings on two.

Does anyone know what there sizing is like? Inclined to be small, true to size or incline to be large would help?

TwiceAsNice Sat 30-Nov-19 08:32:55

Up to 50% of in Gap and Not on the High Street, I have got lovely presents from there. I had my eye on some earrings for DD and for gem for £9 instead of £20 in a Black Friday deal

Charleygirl5 Sat 30-Nov-19 12:24:57

I bought a nightdress at Tu in Sainsbury's for £8. I bought 3 sizes larger than usual, a tad OTT but better than being too small. I would have gone back for more but I do not want Christmas motifs on the front.

Kalu Sat 30-Nov-19 16:38:43

Buying something THREE sizes larger!?. Just to get a bargain?

Kalu Sat 30-Nov-19 16:41:53

Always interesting bits on Not on the High Street. Will be having a search on there? + Hobbs + The White Company?

Charleygirl5 Sun 01-Dec-19 09:31:50

Kalu buying my normal size and the garment would not have fitted me. I did not buy 3 sizes larger just to get a bargain, I bought larger so that I had room to move!
