I can't stop talking about my their present.
It takes 4 place settings, so I reckon that's enough for 2 greedy people.

And me plates fit in, chewy.
That was a common gripe about the countertop ones.
I reckon I've spent almost as much on socks as the dishwasher.

That's a fantastic bargain MissAdventure and I do love a bargain, especially at Christmas! I looked at those for my other house and the reviews were all good; water, energy and detergent efficient. Are you sure you don't want to keep it for yourself? You could get them socks? Or underpants?

I am going to use the water out of the container to soak the plates first, then swill it around the sink.

I fill this one from the top, and have rigged up a container for it to empty into.
It takes around a minute or two to heat up.

I have a slimline dishwasher even though it's just me making the washing up. I'm sure it saves water because it takes a long time for the water to get hot in the kitchen whereas it's two seconds in the shower (thank goodness)

I hate seeing water going down the drain. I can fill watering cans in the summer while I wait for it to get hot but I don't think the garden would welcome any more at the moment.

Honestly, it's like having forensics in my place when they inspect the plates before using them.
I just can't see that well, and my fingers have gone a bit funny, so now I can't feel the crusty old baked on food either.
This little beauty will take care of it all, even though I've had to fiddle around to fit it on a worktop.
