May the turkey be well cooked
may the counter be low
may stuffing be overlooked
and the cook be too slow
may the butter in rivers
run into the mash
may the gravy be bounteous
and pour with a splash
May the bacon and sausages
fall onto the floor
may the cream for the pudding
all spill as you pour
may the beans turn out soggy
and land in our bowl
may you never discover
where went the ham roll.
