Heart Xmas Radio Station

I have a feeling that Classic FM has a related Christmas music station, but Classic itself doesn’t usually play any carols etc. before 1st December, or the first day of Advent.

I absolutely love traditional carols but restrict myself likewise, so that they’re still special. First CD usually goes on while I’m making the first mince pies (also not before 1st Dec./Advent) with the first glass of mulled wine alongside. 🎄😋

Hotel Chocolat shops and cafes are playing Christmas music now.
I suspect the staff may be a little weary of it fairly soon.

I suppose the clue is in its name 😁.

I agree, though, it’s rather too early. However, you have the option not to tune into that station (a bit like you can decide whether to tune into the Christmas film channel or not, which has been churning soppy Christmas films out for months now. It’s definitely not for me - far too early, plus most of those films are terribly saccharine).

No doubt there must be the traffic for them, though, or they wouldn’t run these stations.

Erm, am I being dim here? If you tune into HeartXmas Radio, would one not expect to hear Christmas music 24/7?

If you tune into Heart Radio, you will hear the likes of The Calling, Cold Play, Olly Murs, Usher etc.

57 sleeps to go! 🎄 🎅

Too soon. December 1st seems about right.

Is already belting out festive musical efforts non-stop 24hrs a day.

And it's still only October.
