Just can't get in the Christmas mood

I love Christmas, I love giving presents and usually by now I have done a lot of present buying but this year I just can't get in the right mood. I haven't bought a thing and can't think of any ideas for anyone. I can't believe Bonfire Night has passed and I'm not organised. 😟

Apart from the odd purchase of cards, and making chutney etc, Christmas does not enter my horizon until December really.

Same here, Christmas is a the tail end of December, I don't give it a second thought until the beginning of December at the earliest.

All those expensive adverts are completely lost on me!

It is still early November!

It’s a tad early for me! I think and plan around now, I have ordered our Christmas meat, booked supermarket slots and got Christmas cards, but nothing else will be done until Dec 1st!

Depends how many christmas presents people buy.

I know someone who buys about 83 each year.

Give mainly money this year?

Has something happened to you recently?

If I were in the Christmas mood now, I would find it hard to maintain the momentum for another 6 weeks. We have 2 family birthdays in November, plus the anniversary of losing Paw - oh and I’m having a couple of days in Paris visiting D, SIL and GS, so once those are behind me I’ll turn my thoughts to Christmas.
