We've always got something fabulous up for grabs here on Gransnet. If you've got any questions about a prize or would like to discuss what you've won with fellow gransnetters, feel free to post here.

Also - do check your emails around the closing date of the competition you've entered. If you've won, we would have emailed you the details. Don't forget to check your junk mail, as sometimes our mails slip through the net.

Jakes Bones arrived - it will be just right for my 5 year old grandson, who loves anything to do with the natural world. I am going to keep it for his birthday in August. many thanks!

Almost English arrived- I didn't acknowledge its receipt as I didn't know where I had won it from! I have just finished reading it. I found it a bit difficult to get into, mainly because of the dialogue and the change of character/scene without a quick reference to what was happening. It was not a book to read quickly, as every word was important, and I found my concentration faded after a few chapters. The descriptive style of places and people was excellent. I felt a bit impatient with the girl to start with, then remembered my own adolescence, when I struggled for identity - not from an alien culture, but from the alien further education system,- from a working class background. I'm pleased it had a happy ending!

My Fisher Price feeding chair arrived today as well! It will be a real boon to DS and his girlfriend as they are pushed for both money and space! GS3 is just starting on solids so it couldn't have come at a better time. And my thanks to Kat as well smile
