When choosing a cake recipe to wow your friends and family, do you pick a new one and simply pour your heart into it, or is it a case of batter the devil you know?

To celebrate the launch of the new, colourful and pun-tastic 'Bake My Day' range, Mason Cash has teamed up with Gransnet to give its lovely members the chance to win one of five complete sets of the Bake My Day range worth up to £130!

To take part, all you need to do is put your thinking cap on and post your baking puns on the thread here.
All entries will be judged by the team at Mason Cash, who will pick their five favourite baking puns.

The winners might feature on future additions to the range, so there if your creative wordsmithery is particularly good, it could end up in kitchens all over the world!

This competition has now closed. Thanks for all your entries. Our winners have now been chosen...please see the bottom of the thread to see who!!

Can someone please stop me being able to post on this? Can I be banned from a thread?

(With sincere apologies to Christopher Marlowe)

Come live with me and be my oven glove
And we will all the yeasty pleasures prove
That mills and millers, farmers and fields
And all that Mr.Hovis* yields.

*insert favourite brand here, sadly Tesco Strong White Value Range didn't have quite the right ring to it, neither did it scan.

I cleaned out an entire china cabinet while thinking that one up!
