I would like to win an iPad so I could be a hip and trendy Gran. Not the gran with the dinosaur desk top computer!

I would like to win an ipad because I am constantly and increasingly, being amazed by my grandmother friends who dive into their handbags and pull out this item saying,
" Thought you might like to have a look at my latest grandchild"!

i would like to win an ipad as my grandchildren could show me how to use the internet on the move. i could facetime them when they are at home and help with homework etc, which at the moment we do by phone, thanks for the opportunity.

I would like to win an iPad because I don't have any other device and it would help me support my grandchildren it gaining the all important computer skills. Also, being of a certain age it would help me to feel not so much like a dinosaur and enable me to keep in touch more with family and friends, even while in hospital. Thanks for the chance to win.

I have four grandchildren, two about 50 miles away, and twins 150 miles away. When they were born we moved to where they live and rented a house so we could help and get to know them. We have now moved back, and miss them terribly. They are only just over a year old, but I would love to have the chance to keep pace with them as they start to use technology - which is at a very young age. In the meantime, I am absolutely sure my other two grandchildren, aged 6 and 4, would be forever impressed to know that their grandparents were up to play adventure games via an i-pad. What amazing school-cred that would give them! :-)

I would like to win an ipad as I am convinced I am the only person around that doesn't already have one. As an older person I sometimes find it difficult to keep up with the latest technology, but if & when I get stuck I know my grandchildren will know the answer and be able to help me. If I am lucky enough to win this it would be a great excuse to spend a bit more time with them. They could show me how to use it, then we could have some fun with it.

I would like to win an iPad because we are now spending most of the year in Portugal, my husbands home country and a better place for his health, and my grandson has an iPad and it would like to learn some of the things he is doing with it. I haven't a clue about minecraft the game he builds cities and rooms etc. on, and other games he plays although I try to have conversations with him about them. When we talk on skpe he carries his iPad around and shows us things he is doing and I would like to be able to do the same when I am away.
