I would like to win an iPad because...
I'm the greatest grandson that ever was
I'm bright and funny with a touch class
But really I'm just a pain in the ass.

I would like to win an iPad because it would be so much easier to keep in regular contact with my two wonderful grandchildren. I live in Ireland and they live in Warwickshire.

I would like to win an ipad because
It would make me uber cool
It would entertain the grandkids when they come home from school.
I've seen them use their gadgets, they could teach me a thing or two!
But they struggle on my old PC, I could do with something new!

I would like to win an iPad because it would give me some 'street cred' with my techie family.

I would like to win an iPad because from my grandson's view, the 'world is not enough' and I want to share the universe with him. Love, challenge and adventure are my constant gifts to him and I can make those gifts even more memorable using Gingersnap.

Because we are way behind with technology in this house! Plus my laptop is on it's last legs.

... they would be able to take the lead for a change and share their already developing knowledge of the latest technology with me. If doing that were to give them even a fraction of the joy that I get from introducing them to new experiences, it would be wonderful.

Skype and email and set up my own blog,
Because there's life still yet in this old dog.

Near or far or whatever the weather,my new funky IPad will bring us together.

A lovely modern way to share the old stories and games with the new generation, and for them to teach me technology. Anything that brings friends and family closer whilst having fun is a winner in my book! Or should I say 'in my tablet' ???

Because touch screen and swiping looks to be the future in computing, and I dont want to get left behind.

Plus, my laptop is very heavy and quite cumbersome.

Finally, I go to a car-boot every Sunday, and like to get there first .. so, with a nifty ipad, I could while away the time online, while I wait to go bargain spotting.

I watch my little Demi swiping on her screen
"Look at this! Look at this!" delightedly she screams,
Tap this, tap that and up it comes, her latest TV show.
I'll need some ipad lessons to be a nanny in the know!
But I have just the teacher to guide and to help me,
She knows all about it, even though she's only three!

I would like to win an iPad because... my 3 year old grandson lives with me, and loves to play with my phone , I know he would love to have use of an ipad and all the educational apps you can get for it. and it would give him a nice head start for reception class next year as he is a bright little boy and I know would pick up the pre school apps very well .
