We've got our hands on 6 pairs of Eyejusters to give away!

Eyejusters are the near vision solution we’ve all been waiting for: Adjustable focus reading glasses. Eyejusters are a single pair of glasses to replace all your reading glasses.

The glasses have two small dials tucked behind the frame to adjust the lenses for each eye independently. They allow you to move the in-focus zone at any time to the desired distance. You can adjust the lens power from +0 to +3.00D, covering the range most commonly used in daily life. You need only one pair for all close-up activities.

You could also give the glasses away as a present for your husband or children, who refuse to get their eyes tested...

Eyejusters lens units have been developed and manufactured in-house, in the UK. The technical design fits into normal, stylish frames. For more details, take a look on Eyejusters' website.

Can you imagine a day without your reading glasses? To win a pair of Eyejusters (you get to pick you own style), tell us about all the activities you need reading glasses for these days.

This competition will close at midday on Friday 10 June.

I use glasses for reading books and packaging, using a PC/laptop/Ipad, making phone calls, sewing and applying makeup if I haven't got a x10 mirror to hand. My partner and I have grab&go specs stations / magnifying glasses at strategic points around the house.

Reading!

Grandmapat1 Sun 22-May-16 15:07:36

I need my glasses for reading as I am sure my arms have got shorter over the years and I just cant hold things far enough away now! I need them for reading labels in supermarkets to spot things people are allergic too. For reading the meter book in our village hall and the contracts people send to us sometimes done in tiny writing. I need them to type up minutes for various organisations I have been daft enough to say I will minute and then to read them to check for spelling mistakes. I need to read instructions which seem to be on everything and need them for my hobby of genealogy looking at old documents and trying to fathom what they really say! I need them to thread my sewing machine to mend the little boy next doors school trousers and most of all to be able to read books and magazines for pleasure

The one advantage of being very short-sighted! I often take my (varifocus) glasses off if I need to do anything close or read something in small print. Actually, there are two advantages of being very short-sighted - until I put my glasses on in the morning, everything is a very pleasant blur! Oh, I've thought of another: when I have my hair done, I usually take my glasses off - and I look FABULOUS in the mirror (until I put them back on again).

Need reading glasses more and more these days...

Instructions on cooking for foodstuffs
makeup instructions
Tv watching

Love the idea of these being able to adjust the strength

I use my reading glasses for doing anything on my smart phone, also when working on computer or reading just about anything. I can drive without them but can't really see the dials properly unless I put my glasses on.

I like the sound of these! I have one eye that needs a slightly different strength lens so although I wear varifocals during the day, I find them annoying when trying to read in bed. When I move they go out of focus. So I use reading glasses then, but can only read with one eye!! hmm

I need my glasses for most things these days. Most of all for my jewellery making. Just now I am using seed beads for bracelets using a loom , and without my specs it is impossible. Before I had cataracts removed I was short sighted but now i am longsighted, and i am so disappointed by this, as I used to do lots of crafty things which I loved and now can't manage very well. These glasses which are the prize sound like just what I need, so fingers crossed.

I spin on my spinning wheel, dye yarns and fibres for my shop. Need to see really well to do this and I read SO much every day.My reading glasses are on and off all day, and I can't read labels on packaging anymore. It's frustrating.

I need reading glasses for computer work, reading, sewing and knitting and reading labels in shops so need two pairs one for home and one to keep in my bag when i am out.

Of course for reading, its amazing for how much now.
If I use a kindle, I can alter the font size, but that's not possible for newspapers !
When shopping, food labels have got smaller !!!!!! need a magnifying glass by the shelf !!!!! Very important looking for allergy information for grandchildren.
Its OK when home but if I've gone out without anything, then only part of the World is available to me.

Lost my reading glasses recently - can still drive and watch TV but using computer or reading books (my favourite hobby) are currently impossible. Nothing left of this month's pension after paying the household bills so I would LOVE to win a pair of these brilliant specs!

I need Glasses for sewing and for reading your web page and to keep an eye on what my husband is doing

tcb1 Thu 02-Jun-16 11:11:52

General reading but I really need them to read the very small print on the back of cans, jars etc when I go shopping !

miep Thu 02-Jun-16 12:42:54

I seem to be getting closer and closer to my laptop screen, which is not doing my back any good! But the best use of Eyejusters for me would be when I am am out and about when I am out and about in my wheelchair. Obviously, I don't need them to see where I am going, but when I get to the shops, I find that as I am some distance away from the shelves, I can't read the price tickets on the shelves.Unless I lean right over the front (I have fallen out a few times) I can't read the ticket that is levelwith my eyes, never mind the shelf above or below. An adjustable pair would save me from a)breaking my neck or b)asking somebody. It's bad enough asking people to reach things for you, without asking all the prices too!

Reading, watching TV and computer work

Venus Fri 03-Jun-16 22:14:26

I need them to read all the small print on various documents, nearly everything in the supermarket, computer viewing. Mobile phone texts particularly are hard to read, plus good old fashion cards and letters!
