I wish that I could turn the clock back to the time before my family was fractured by marital breakups and the GC could have both parents together for Christmas. I would be truly happy.

Health and Happiness is at the top of my list. I'm sure most of us would agree.

The best thing I could possibly get is my very poorly new grandson home with us for Christmas.

I have told DH that I don't want any more "stuff" as I have everything I need. What I would love are days out,trips to the theatre or even tea and cake somewhere nice. We are both on a remarriage and he has been diagnosed with emphysema, so I want memories for when I no longer have him.

Well, I don't actually have a Christmas list but assuming I did I would really like;

Some nice bubbly bath.
Some nice perfume (Hugo Boss "The Scent" would be perfect).
Some nice new pj's or a sexy nightie
A white, soft and fluffy dressing gown
Some new slippers (size 5 please)
and a LARGE bottle of Baileys

Oh and that nice big box of books would just finish my Christmas night off a treat. grin

Just to be in the room when my small granddaughters come in and see all the parcels Father Christmas has left. I have a lot less money this year since I retired but have managed to find nice things they will like for little money. Just to be able to spend Christmas with them and both daughters is priceless.

Hubby and I aren't buying presents for each other this year rather we'll take a trip in the Spring as our present to each other.

My wish for Christmas is for good health for all our family and friends, as we've had a few hiccups over the last year or so.

It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page
