Willy Wonka because he owns a child's dream factory and he is so funny in the film and the stories

Mrs Trunchball because I feel about sorry for her and she really does remind me of someone I know ☺

The BFG as he's the type of friend we all need

Unfortunately I didn't have access to these books as a child, but am so looking forward to reading them with my grandson and I am sure that we will love them all.

I love Matilda as it's about a courageous young girl who loves books. It's such a warm, funny read with such memorable characters - who could forget Miss Honey or Bruce Bogtrotter or the horrendous Miss Trunchbull! Such a fantastic read for all ages.

Miss Trunchbull as she reminded me of my headmistress who scared the life out of me at school.

The BFG because he is so kind.

George from George's Marvellous Medicine as it inspired me and my son to wonder what concoctions we could try to create!

Mr Twit is a firm favourite in our house. He just makes us all.laugh so much. My lil grandson Eli giggles the most !
