A nice warm bed and a good book is very relaxing also lying in the sun again with a book. Maltesers also help!

I like a hot shower with a suitably fragrant shower gel, followed by a relaxing read accompanied by a hot drink and some chocolate.

A pamper in a bubble bath, delicious food, tv and a good book ?

langelei Sun 23-Sept-18 17:29:57

There is only one way - a lovely, fragrant smelling warm bath, a jolly good book you can't put down and a glass of ice-cold Prosecco. Everyone stay clear! MMMMMMMMMMMM [wine}

Go for a gentle swim. We sometimes have the pool to ourselves especially on a Saturday evening about 7.

Christalbee Sun 23-Sept-18 18:07:59

Lovely warm scented bath, then slather on the Magnesium Sleep. Spray the pillow with smelly sleep stuff, and read my book with a cup of hot chocolate. Never fails to work for me. Reserve wine nights to twice a week and only two large glasses. No point in any of the other things on those nights. Just a horrible disturbed night! Always do it anyway though!!

MotherHubbard Sun 23-Sept-18 18:24:11

Fill a bowl with warm water, add foot soak, make sure towel, foot cream and cosy socks to hand. Pour glass cold white wine, tv box set ready. Sit, soak, sup, set on and relax.

Light the fire, relax with a cup of her tea and listen to a relaxation CD. Then read a romance that I have down loaded on my kindle.

Millie8 Sun 23-Sept-18 19:20:10

Reading in a warm fragrant bubble bath, with my kindle, a glass of wine and a candle on the bath tray. Once fell asleep and dropped kindle in water so bath try is essential!!

RAZZLEDAZZLE Sun 23-Sept-18 19:44:36

Knit or crochet! It works if I am really stressed.

GrannieAnnie123 Sun 23-Sept-18 20:04:01

A hot, smelly bath with a glass of wine. Scented candles , a good book and something to wipe my glasses with from the steam. Polish it off in a warm bathroom with a luscious body cream

Dianic Sun 23-Sept-18 20:04:31

I find it really hard to relax, but if I get the chance, I like a cuppa and some popcorn, whilst watching a girly film, like 28 dresses... or "How to train your Dragon"!!!

Albangirl14 Sun 23-Sept-18 20:05:48

A cup of tea with a cake and nice smelling candle lit while I read my new magazine!

1inamillion Sun 23-Sept-18 20:17:52

Light the log burner, then lie on the sofa with a good book or an audio book, a cup of tea and a cwtch with our spaniel. Heaven.

I love nothing more then a g&t after dinner, piece plain chocolate, my favourite programme Poldark to watch and then a lovely soak in the bath before bedtime. Bliss
