Settle down with a glass of wine and do my favourite comps.

I find walking, listening to music and gardening all very relaxing. And definitely a long relaxing soak with some quality bath products. Sanctuary is just the job for this.

Long hot bath, a glass of wine and a good book

Go for a long walk, followed by a bubble bath and a good book.

I love to go for a walk it helps clear my mind and think if I need too.

I love to curl up in bed after a lovely hot bath & relax with a good book - a mug of tea by my side & the fairylights lit up for some ambience! Bliss! smile

Bake one of my favourite cakes. At this time of year it’s
something with apples. Nothing like baking to forget the world around me.

Elaine2251 Sun 23-Sept-18 22:19:19

Easy read book, coffee and cake, comfortable chair with feet up.

dahlia08 Sun 23-Sept-18 22:25:42

I like to read a good book, whilst have a nice cup of spiced tea. Love to spend time with my grandsons.

HillyN Sun 23-Sept-18 22:26:25

My favourite way to relax in a jacuzzi or hot tub. My DD has a hot tub and sometimes when we've been invited round she and I will 'chill' in it with a glass of Prosecco. Bliss!

I play the ukulele and sing - loudly

Oh dear, I'm a bit of a bad girl in this context! I tend to relax with video games.

Lindak Mon 24-Sept-18 04:16:18

I go out for a nice walk

A cup of tea, music and repetitive knitting, such as garter stitch rectangles which I make into mini bags for charity. Row after row -it’s addictive and peaceful!

Marmight Mon 24-Sept-18 06:52:05

I lie prone on the daybed in my conservatory and look up through the roof and bird watch. I'm out in the country next to the infant Thames & close to a number of lakes and at present there are hundreds of geese to be seen almost at roof level. Its a very calming occupation!

Millybadger Mon 24-Sept-18 07:16:14

A walk along the seafront on a warm sunny day with an ice cream cornet.

Nergard Mon 24-Sept-18 07:56:55

Stroking my cat as she sits on my lap and purrs and it seems to relax me as well.

Nansypansy Mon 24-Sept-18 08:20:33

Sorting through my sewing stash to find the right piece of fabric for my current appliqué project.

blubber Mon 24-Sept-18 09:14:44

I take hot milk and go to bed with a good book. My husband has dementia and Parkinson's and goes to bed early having worn himself out ranting and pacing (and falling) about the house trying to see what the invisible (to me) people are doing. I make the most of it until he gets up again, about six times a night.

wattsavage Mon 24-Sept-18 09:55:00

Bubble bath and a good book.

Holly42 Mon 24-Sept-18 10:15:23

Relax in a warm scented bath1

nanarossi Mon 24-Sept-18 10:31:35

When I get the chance - sitting on a beach listening to the waves.

I cook myself my favourite meal. Then curl up on the sofa with a good book and glass of rose
