A walk on the beach, a hot relaxing bath, then snuggle up on the sofa with my dear old Labrador and a good book.

I don't really relax, if I got the chance I imagine myself in a bath with candles around with some nice music on and a glass of wine, Oh I can dream !!

Lynne810 Tue 18-Sept-18 13:47:15

A lovely hot bubble bath is my absolute chill out choice.

lbmurphy Tue 18-Sept-18 14:00:44

A class of wine, popcorn a good movie and my man next to me - if I every get the chance again with 2 children and a dog now

Audrie57 Tue 18-Sept-18 14:12:18

I tend to have a soak in the bath with bubbles andcandles, then when I feel really relaxed \i may come downstairs and do some knitting or crochet, , which ever takes my fancy at that time, really, a nice cup of tea usually is the final relaxer, with a nice crumbly biscuit.
Our village shop sells some fantastic homemade biscuits. When dad was alive I always took him a pkt or two, as there were better than rubbish you get in the supermarket his words not mine.

Awalk along the sea shore collecting shells and driftwood

Yearoff Tue 18-Sept-18 14:19:56

Always need to be in my fluffy dressing gown and on the sofa. If the dog joins me that’s also great (free warmth!). My choice in the tv and I’m in heaven.

Run a lovely foamy bath, put a few tealights around it. Play some relaxing music and pour myself a glass of Prosecco.

During the day I would take myself of for a long walk but if the weather was inclement or it was dark out I would curl up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate.

rubysmoke Tue 18-Sept-18 14:49:27

go to the gym, swim for a bit, relax in the hot pool, use the aromatherapy rooms, the sauna, have a shower and go home to a slow cooked meal, Classic FM and a good book

leiajulie Tue 18-Sept-18 14:52:35

A nice warm bath with essential oils always does it for me.

Anj123 Tue 18-Sept-18 15:08:13

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I watch tv, sometimes I read or check social media, other times I like to be creative so I sew, knit or crochet!

It depends on where I am at the time. If on holiday - then I usually find a walk on the beach to be relaxing (all that sea air). At home - it can vary. A drink of milky hot chocolate or sleep easy tea or a nice hot bath. Having freshly washed bed linen also helps me to relax.

jacd77 Tue 18-Sept-18 15:16:04

My perfect way to relax is a good pamper session and some good music.

jaclovesdogs Tue 18-Sept-18 15:22:41

Having a nice hot bubble bath and afterwards a facial routine (face scrub, cleansing, toning, serum, moisturiser and eye cream). Occasionally a night mask which I keep on overnight. And then filing my nails, polishing and painting my nails and watching TV whilst they are drying. Leaving me feeling so relaxed and pampered afterwards.
