I like a nice walk in the countryside it clears my head and there is always something new to see. Afterwards a lovely picnic and snooze in the sun in summer, if not back home to stew and dumplings in front of the fire in winter.

Bubbly bath with chocolate, a glass of more bubbles and the radio!

When I had a bath to soak in, that and a good book would soon relax me... now sadly, where I live only has a shower - so the book would get rather wet! Nowadays I relax either with the good book alone, just before I put my head down or playing a few games on the t'internet. Though when we go away for a break I do tend to look for the places that have a bath! wink

A glass of wine and my favourite music on the iPod, and relax!

The only chance I get to unwind these days is the brief period between my (autistic) son's bedtime & mine so I veg out in front of the TV with some utterly unhealthy snacks :-)

Gardening is my way to relax and unwind, it takes my mind of other things. Tidy garden full of flowers, veg and fruit is such a pleasure....and then a long soak in the bath!

If the weather's nice, a sunlounger, good book and cup of tea. If it's winter, heating on, nice comfy blanket, good book and a cup of tea. Either way, you can't lose.

I have a shower using Sanctuary Products, then go to bed and tun all the lights off and read from my Kindle or play Patience. I am soon ready to drift off to sleep. I cannot soak in a bath as I have great difficulty getting out.

I relax with a good beer, some Gujerati mix and either some great classical music or a strong TV drama series box set.

Time on my own, doing a crossword or knitting, is bliss

My favourite way to relax and unwind is a long, hot bubble bath where I can lay down and read my book. Perfect!

Settle down with a good book and a mug of tea. Face mask on.

I like to relax by reading a good book usually a crime novel, after a busy day working in a hospital. I have a glass of berry mojito in one hand and a book in the other. My feet are slightly raised and I have a large soft cushion behind my back. I can read for hours before bed time and sleep really well.

Tryfan12 Tue 18-Sept-18 17:05:25

Have a long candle lit bubble bath listening to a good audio book. Perfect

Chrissie61 Tue 18-Sept-18 17:11:28

Lock the doors, switch phones off, cup of coffee, box of chocolates and good book.

During the winter, after a long walk, I run a hot bath adding a luxurious bath creme to the water. A good long soak helps me relax and unwind and afterwards I’m ready to face the rest of the day!

Every time I really need to properly chill out, I like to cook. Getting into the kitchen, thinking up ideas, measuring ingredients and then producing something utterly delicious removes all the weight or depression from me and when I have finished and shoved all the crocks into the dishwasher and set it going, I make a cuppa and just completely relax.
