I AM Grandma Bird but never knew they had written a book about me, never knew I had lived such an amazing life, suddenly I'm very, very cool!

My favourite thing is having the time to focus on them that I didn't really have to focus on my children.
When my own children were young I was working full time so my time to get everything done was limited.
Now, when my gorgeous grandchildren talk to me I listen to them and have proper conversations.
I feel it pays off big time whenever they cuddle me and tell me they love me and I'm their best friend. It just melts my heart.

When the door opens and they see me and shout Nanna and throw themselves on me makes my heart melt

The hugs and kisses, the grandchildren make me feel young again and sane

I never thought it was possible to love anyone more than my own children but these 4 little ones have my heart firmly in the palm of their hands.

My grandchildren, best thing in my life! Nana, love you! What more can I ask or need.? See them daily, how lucky am I?

My favourite thing about being a Granny being able to help out with baby sitting whilst my daughter is at work or on a night out, which means I get her all to myself to play and sing silly songs to her and seeing her happy and laughing just makes my day.

Everything. For one reason and another the chances of my becoming a grandparent were slim, but now I have four. All gorgeous and perfect. My life is complete.

After having three daughters I now have three grandsons. I love seeing expressions and mannerisms which remind me so much of their Mums when they were little. It brings back great memories.

I love being a Grandma to three lovely girls and now we have a great grandsons, who is a joy in our life

Enjoying their company but definitely handing them back.

Seeing things through a child's eyes again!
