Best reads for Christmas - win £600 of books

We have 5 grandchildren and can’t wait to their joy as they open their presents. I also know the wrapping paper and boxes will be as much fun as any present!

I think the best present I am giving is several small packs made up of wet ones sanitary towels,gloves, scarf if available to some homeless people. I have given some to males, but there's was wet ones, gloves,/mitts and chocolate, crisps and razor well a couple really just things that I have bought over the year from pound shops here and there, then when I am in town we always seem to see a few, so its just a friendly face hopefully.

My Dad, who's recently suffered a stroke, is nearly 80, and to help with his rehabilitation, he's been doing jigsaw puzzles, and despite himself, he's really got into them, so I've got him a beautiful puzzle, with a fiendishly hard picture!

Am looking forward to giving the family time and to help them as much as I can.

I can't wait to give me two girls a picture that I have had made for both of them with memories of are recent holiday to Disney.

Looking forward to my mum meeting her new great grandson. She's so excited.

A Number of years ago my youngest son got into Financial Difficulties because of a girl. He had already been Bankrupt once and to go bankrupt for a second time might not be forgiven by his employers. Therefore I lent him £36,000. He has been paying me back and now only owes me £10,000.
He has a good girlfriend now, and I am to meet her parents this Christmas. I have decided to tell him I am forgetting this rest of the Debt and consider it payed. The only thing is it will cost me another £10,000 as I have two sons and treat them the same.

I'm looking forward to giving my Father his presents as it will probably be his last Christmas, they are nothing big, just a few bits he asked for.

My gift will be time (along with a few other little presents!) We are all so busy rushing here, there and everywhere so it will be lovely to just chill out and really listen to each other.

I am so looking forward to giving an Encyclopedia to my Grandson. He is adopted and I see him once a year. To hand over the present to a knowledge hungry little chap will make me happy beyond measure.

The best present I am looking forward to give this year, is my secret santa gift as the whole office cannot help themselves not to laugh. I love joy and laughter at christmas.

My younger son is obsessed with Harry Potter as well as Fantastic Beasts. I can't wait to see him opening his HP-themed box with a gorgeous illustrated edition of Fantastic Beasts, a little Harry Potter night lamp, a couple of HP and Newt pop-heads, HP pyjamas and a Fantastic Beasts Lego set.

The present I'm most looking forward to giving this year is to my husband. We've had a bit of a rough year financially but things have sorted out in the last couple of months and so I've booked us a week in a holiday cottage at Easter. He works from home and works every single day for at least a few hours. He never takes a whole day off unless we aren't at home and that hasn't been possible this year. So the two of us and our youngest son who is still at home will take a nice relaxing break and there will be enough room if any of the rest of the family want to join us as well.

The best gift i will give this year is the gift of love and a new life to a dog we have rescued from Spain. Her name is Tiny and she is coming to be with us next week. We are all incredibly excited.

i am looking forward to letting my husband have a day off helping me to prepare Christmas dinner and washing up for 11, as this year we are having the first Christmas on our own, after 36 years of mayhem.(its back to normal boxing day)

I'm looking forward to giving my daughter her new laptop as she desperately needed one but thought we couldn't afford one. She will be delighted!
