Playing on the beach making sandcastles makes me feel young again

A session at my local fitsteps class leaves me with a can do anything feeling, just like 30 years ago.

Going to the seaside

Plenty of exercise and fresh air keeps me young at heart.

Going out with my family and friends.

Dancing to Uptown Funk with DGC. They think it is hysterical that Grandma can still strut her funky stuff!!!

Driving on long journey nobody but me round curving roads, with my favourite music on the tape, sometimes Chris Rea. Driving home for Christmas song or Going Fishin ......
Even younger lying in the meadow with my horse, both of us sunbathing enjoying the heat of the sun, my head on his shoulder/neck, we lay there together for hours. Can still feel the the heat of the sun when I think about it.

Hearing a song from my younger days immediately takes me back to that time.

Exercise and plenty of fresh air and spending time with my favourite little people (grandchildren)

How to feel
Young again? Having a good giggle with my sister that develops into uncontrollable infectious laughter at something inconsequential, in front of my niece, who just doesn’t see the joke....

Being with young people and laughing.

In my mind I am still in my twenties the power of positive thinking , we all can dream, that’s what keeps us youn.

Working with people 20 years younger than me, I can remember what it felt like to be their age and what their goals in life are, and the excitement of getting their first house, getting married or having children

Having fun playing netball again, after hating it at school!

Paddling on the beach (even if the weather isn’t great) and eating fish and chips out of the bag!

Keeping fit and eating a healthy diet. I went on a 5 day trek to the Lost City in Colombia just 3 years after I had a heart attack. I found myself to be younger in mind and body than some of those who were 30 years younger than me. Feeling young is a state of mind

Pilates and mindfulness in mixed age groups where we're 'all in the same boat' whatever your age. Playing things like table football with my grandsons which immediately whips me back to to both my own youth and also having teenage children.

I like going to festivals, recently I went to Hyde Park to watch different singers. It was fantastic. A bit of a boogie. Meeting new people. wonderful

Listening to Beatles music and being with young people!

Dancing as if I haven’t a care in the world makes me feel young, I’m usually in the kitchen with the music blaring and singing at the top of my voice. Exercise keeps you young!

Music from the 60s and 70s, makes me feel like the world is still my oyster and I can do anything!!!
