I go to theme parks with my two sons (who are in their 30's. I have been on all the major roller coasters in the UK during the past year and absolutely love it! I think I am an adrenaline junkie! I have been on the front row of 'The Smiler' twice. (it has 14 inversions). My son's have asked me to do a zip ride over a quarry in Wales and am looking forward to it. I have asked them if they will still take me when I am in my 80's and they have said if I am still up to it then yes!

Walking out in the countryside and breathing in the fresh air, there’s something so revitalising about it that makes me feel so alive and at peace within myself, I suppose it’s becoming at ‘one with nature ‘ the years fall away.......

Long, hot sunny days make me feel young again as they remind me of childhood summers at the beach or in the garden. The feel of grass under my feet and the sun on my skin are joyous and youthful.

Just returned from a holiday in Borneo looking for orang-utans. Tubing on the river through the jungle with monkeys cavorting in the trees above made me feel young again. Laying in a lorry tyre, rifting along with the current, a few fast bits to add excitement and no need to worry about stiff joints, etc. Brilliant! Can’t wait to do it again and it’s made me look at other new things to try. (Preferably sitting down things!)

NfkDumpling Thu 19-Sept-19 14:38:47

(There was a distinct shortage of orang-utans)
