It's so simple, close family, being happy, healthy and positive, and giving back kindness to people that I meet in my day.
Smile and breath, all then will be well.

being young and staying young is important, don't sweat the small stuff, coming up 72 in 16 days does not make me older, it makes me enjoy every minute, no matter what the day brings, being disabled does not stop me enjoying life as best I can, even the bad days are good, when company comes to call, always look on the bright side of life, as the saying goes!!!

Tidusmc Thu 12-Sept-19 11:14:23

Life. As often as I can and no matter how much sometimes I really don't want too because I'm in pain. I keep going and I surround myself with people that keep me going; be it family or friends. I keep my mind active and when I need to I rest. Life is too short to tolerate crap, been there done that and aint doing it anymore.

Keeping my brain and body active to still enjoy the things I did 30 years ago. I love to dance round the kitchen to the radio, run down the garden, read children's books because they make me cry and get on my bike every week and cycle to the cafe like a student.

Having a decent nights sleep (very, very rare) and meeting up with old friends and continuing just where you left off.

Waking up early on Saturday and listening to Tony Blackburn at 6am. I know that the other listeners will share similar feelings and memories as Tony plays sixties songs, tells the same old jokes and reminisces.
I close my eyes and I'm almost back there.
