My favorite was the three billy goats gruff, with my father doing all the characters in different voices.

I was taken to see the fillm of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves . I was only very young but I was awe inspired. I thought Snow White was beautiful. I still can't hear the dwarves song 'Hey ho, Hey Ho it's off to work we go..' wihout becoming nostalgic. I still have my 1950's copy of the story. My absolute favourite.

For me it has to be Aladdin it was and still is my favourite. It held a fascination for me of distant exotic lands, magical thrills and mysterious happenings around what is essentially a love story. A great piece of literature that grasped the attention of a young reader, and still does for that matter! Its still lovely to lose yourself in a fanciful tale with a clear underlying moral.

The three billy goats gruff. Loved my dad doing all the voices and loved it even more as a parent watching my children enthralled, 'mock' scared and captivated by the story as we read it to them. It was also good fun doing the voices especially doing the deep gravelly voice which the boys loved. Now look forward to hearing them read it to the next generation

My favourite fairy tale is Cinderella, because as as child I had a Ladybird book of the story with beautiful illustrations- including one with a blue satin dress which I adored!
