To the seaside.

A beach. Any beach. The water, the smell, the experience is always mesmerising, to watch nature's power at work.
And make sandcastles, of course!!

My grandchildren live in New Zealand so it would be nice for me to visit them and they could show me some places of interest in NZ, there are plenty to choose from!

I would take them all to the Ochil hills of Scotland, where I grew up, then on up through the Cairngorms to the Moray coast where their ancestors came from! Screens left behind (for all of us) and plenty of time to climb the hills, fish in the burn, build a campfire and cook sausages and bake tatties!
Walk the beautiful beaches, watch the fishing boats come in, skim stones and later on watch the stars come out.
Ah, nostalgia is a wonderful thing ☺️

I would love to take my 4 grandkids & one is on its way to Disneyland Paris. Its not too far, but has all the magic that fires kids imagination. Us big kids too. I love to tell my grandkids mushup stories with their names in them, when we go on journeys. Wow the stories we could make up for Disneyland Paris would be amazing.

Egton Bridge. I had lovely holidays there as a child and then so did their mother. Now it is their chance to enjoy the stream and the stepping stones followed by fish and chips in Whitby

Europa Park, Germany - a proper theme park where the experience is more important than the blatant commercial side. A wonderful place for everyone whatever their age

I would love to take my beautiful grandchildren to St.Vincent, a small Caribbean island that their great grandad came from before he joined the British Army. Thank you

To the Pembrokeshire coast where they could see dolphins and seals in the natural habitat and where the scenery is so stunning and magical and the air so fresh and sweet, a real joy for everyone but especially children.

A road trip around the UK visiting friends, family and the many beauty spots and sights along the way. We must appreciate and value the country we live in if we are to preserve it for future generations and what better way than through live experiences.
