It's gotta be Disneyland in Florida. I had better get saving as I have 8 grandkids??♥️?

LornPerr Sun 13-Oct-19 23:37:47

I would take my granddaughter to Disneyland she absolutely loves all things Disney & especially the Princesses

Ingrid45 Sun 13-Oct-19 23:19:57

I would take them to Lochinver in the north of Scotland. A nice little cottage near the beach with plenty space to run about - reminiscent of my childhood. All the time in the world to potter about, climb trees, build dams, make sandcastles, relax! They have been flown all over the world and don't know a thing about their own country. They don't know the sheer fun of making their own entertainment.

New Zealand - fantastic scenery

I'd take them to Bondi beach for a swim with the kids IceCubes club and lunch at a cafe. It's just lovely all year round but so refreshing to go in our summer, their winter!

Meeman Sun 13-Oct-19 21:49:06

I would take them to Dartmoor and broaden their horizons of not living in an urban environment. Beautiful comfortable cottage, walking in great scenery, cooking wholesome food, spend time with them making memories!

I would take my eight year old grandson to Japan. He is fascinated by Japanese culture. He loves the food, fashion and Japanese movies.
It would be such an amazing experience and may be we will get there one day

I would take them to a Centre Parcs, where we can all just have a chilled relaxing time

raglan08 Sun 13-Oct-19 12:39:58

I would take them to Zambia where Youngest grandson's mam was born and then to Botswana where the other grandchildren's lived and then go on Safari. My youngest grandson loves giraffes. He owns 5 toy ones. And also belongs to the save the giraffe club. To see where their parents early life was spent would be amazing. My fourteen year old granddaughter tells me that when she starts earning she wants to take me back to Africa. I would like to do it to them all. Such wonderful memories.

Ratshark Sun 13-Oct-19 12:24:56

I would take my grandchildren to Coober Pedy in Australia..a unique place.
its an opal mining town but its really hot here so a lot of the town is built underground..kids would love it!

I would take them to Bamburgh, Northumberland to walk on the golden beaches and then a trip around the beautiful castle. Then onto Holy Island and the truly wonderful area full of history. They would then be taken on a trip around Northumberland where we would stop at Seahouses for some wonderful fish and chips. Ate while watching the sea come in and out. Beautiful.

littlemonkeyz Sun 13-Oct-19 11:51:04

I would take them to the Canadian Rockies as that is where my parents took me as a child. I have some magical memories and would love to share them with my grandchildren.

Anita79 Sun 13-Oct-19 11:49:15

I would take them to Scotland as I have never been. It would be fun for all of us. Love to see the Castle, the catacombs and the marvellous scenery

trishtone Sun 13-Oct-19 11:40:11

I'd like to take my two grandchildren to Cornwall where they can experience open spaces, beautiful beaches and fresh clean air. Their idea of a good beach is limited to a small stony and crowded area.

Catterygirl Sun 13-Oct-19 10:29:22

I would take them to Trinidad where I lived for a while in the 60's. I would show them how sugar grows, the amazing beaches and wildlife.

Juno56 Sun 13-Oct-19 10:16:37

My first grandchild hasn't been born yet (due next month) but I would take her to where I had many happy childhood holidays, and where I took her mother, Crantock in Cornwall. A traditional seaside holiday in a wonderful part of the country.

woo69 Sun 13-Oct-19 09:37:09

We would go to the Lake District for a week and explore lots of places I went to as a child but they haven’t been to

pinksilver Sun 13-Oct-19 09:22:40

I would take my granddaughter to the USA to visit family. She would travel quite a bit as they are scattered far and wide and we might leave the Florida relatives to last as we could then include a visit to Disneyland as the cherry on the cake

IvvieN Sun 13-Oct-19 09:13:43

I would take my grandkids to North Norway and the Arctic Circle. We’d go dog sledding (terrifying but unforgettable!), stand on frozen lakes drinking hot chocolate to see the Northern Lights, and go on a sleigh ride to see Santa and his reindeer, while the children are still young enough to believe. Magical!!
