Ooh, across Canada, coast to coast, in a Winnebago, then down the West Coast to California. It would be an epic road trip!

I would take my granddaughter to DisneyWorld Orlando, it's the best fun children and grown ups can have.

Europa Park, Germany - a proper theme park where the experience is more important than the blatant commercial side. A wonderful place for everyone whatever their age

Egton Bridge. I had lovely holidays there as a child and then so did their mother. Now it is their chance to enjoy the stream and the stepping stones followed by fish and chips in Whitby

I would love to take my 4 grandkids & one is on its way to Disneyland Paris. Its not too far, but has all the magic that fires kids imagination. Us big kids too. I love to tell my grandkids mushup stories with their names in them, when we go on journeys. Wow the stories we could make up for Disneyland Paris would be amazing.

I'd take them to Sri Lanka - to see it's beautiful people, culture, scenery and wildlife - especially baby elephants and leopards in their natural habitat!

I would take my grandchildren to Borneo, where we lived in the 70s/80s - they would love it!

Back in time to visit my mum when she was alive and younger, my granddaughter would love her

I would take them all to the Ochil hills of Scotland, where I grew up, then on up through the Cairngorms to the Moray coast where their ancestors came from! Screens left behind (for all of us) and plenty of time to climb the hills, fish in the burn, build a campfire and cook sausages and bake tatties!
Walk the beautiful beaches, watch the fishing boats come in, skim stones and later on watch the stars come out.
Ah, nostalgia is a wonderful thing ☺️

A beach. Any beach. The water, the smell, the experience is always mesmerising, to watch nature's power at work.
And make sandcastles, of course!!

I'm not a grandmother but I'm a great Aunt does that count! I would take my great nephew to my old primary school that bring me back fond memories playing in the playground and hopping on 1 leg to play hopscotch and the sweet shop near the school that I go to when school finished!

busterjames Wed 16-Oct-19 22:31:57

I would take mine to the rugged and beautiful west coast of Scotland, ferry hopping from island to island, seeing the amazing wildlife, stunning beaches and being able to experience real freedom in the great outdoors.

bookmark77 Thu 17-Oct-19 04:28:22

I would take them to the grand canyon so they can take it all in.

Tigiwigi Thu 17-Oct-19 10:25:50

Why take them abroad when there is so much to see here and why subject them to long journey and have a lot of fuss while they are little. No, I would take them to the Gower. There is so much to see and do there which they would enjoy. Native flora and fauna, old things to see and some myths too. The bonus would be good weather occasionally.

JaxLeo Thu 17-Oct-19 10:56:37

I'd bring him to Disneyland, florida! He is in love with "Mickeys Castle". I can imagine his face if he met the characters ❤️❤️❤️❤️
