I love reading The Borrowers to my grandchildren, they seem to get so excited by the story. They are always suggesting things The Borrowers might find useful. |Mostly my ear rings or necklaces. I dread the day they suggest my false teeth!

The younger ones like books with repetitive phrases like The Gingerbread Man and The Magic Porridge pot. I have been reading an old classic The Wind in the Willows to the older ones. Currently before bed time on zoom. Looking forward to the time when we can visit in person......?

I’m Afraid you may think I’m old fashioned but I read all the old favourites that my Mum read to me as a child. little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks etc, but my favourite of all is Snow White, my children and Grandchildren enjoyed it too, just waiting now for Great Grand Children to continue the tradition ??

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a long time favourite. The children love the beautiful illustrations and eventually learn the words off by heart so we end up reading it together.
