My grandson is only 7 months old and lives a long way from us. During the current lockdown, I have been making finger puppets so that, when we Facetime, I can tell him/act out The 3 Little Pigs or The Billy Goats Gruff.

Hi, as the username suggests, I am blind and so, therefore, must use the computer with the aid of specialised audible software so I am unable to read to my Grandson but with technology, I am able to `Facetime` him and we listen to stories via ALEXA. He seems to like stories about Caterpillars.

I have a book called 'Mummy's Little Bear', and all of my dgc have enjoyed listening to it (and looking at the pictures) when very young. I think that they could really relate to the central mother/baby theme, as well as to the fun things that the little bear was taught to do by his mum.

Pretend ‘reading’ as 3 year old DGS looks serious, rummages in his pocket, then with a look of triumph brings out his clutched hand saying ‘I’ve got a story from my pocket!’ He says what it’s about, hands it to the tablet screen and it’s time for the story to be ‘read’ grin

I enjoy reading There's A Dragon In Your Book by Tom Fletcher to my Granddaughter. When I first bought and started reading the book to her she thought the book was going to catch fire because the illustrations are so good. It was lovely to see such good imagination and I enjoy the interaction within the book for me and my Granddaughter.
