I liked Robert Galbraith: Cormoran Strike series. Interesting plot and contemporary context that I can relate to.

Love thrillers – it’s really hard to choose but I think Jefferey Deaver is my favourite author, so I’ll pick his first, The Bone Collector. Lots of twists and turns, and I like it especially when you can’t guess the ending.

I love The Talented Mr Ripley by Patricia Highsmith. Ripley is a fine villain who has no moral compass. I love reading thrillers because they are a perfect escape from the ordinary world. Can I guess who/why/when/how they did it?

I love reading crime/thrillers as I lose myself in the world in which they are set and I test myself by trying to work out who the villain is. My favourite book tends to be the one I'm reading at the moment but a recent favourite is Blood & Sugar by Laura Shepherd-Robinson, a truly shocking indictment of attitudes towards slavery in 18th century Britain whilst also an intriguing mystery. I did not work it out and was quite surprised at the denouement

I love the crime thrillers by Denise Mina. I particularly enjoy them as they are local to where I live. So they seem all the more real.

I like a legal thriller so Grisham is usually a good read. I haven't got a favourite. I like getting lost in the story/plot and feeling on the edge of my seat waiting to find the resolution. It offers an escape from life and the excitement of danger without actually being under threat.

I love the Karen Pirie series by ValMcDermid. I love this type of book because crime and thrillers always leave you in suspense and wanting more!

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, very gripping, the book as always, much better than the movies, just like trying to work out who is the culprit.

I really enjoy crime thrillers. It's hard to choose one above all others, but I've just finished Val McDermid's 'Still Life'. It has at its centre art forgery, so it's double bubble for me, as I like anything to do with art.

The most recent thriller I enjoyed was The Sin Eater, I had no idea they actually existed once upon a time. It was a fascinating if somewhat revolting read.
I love the suspense of thrillers, not knowing the plot but trying to guess as I go along and then usually finding out at the very end I was wrong because there was an unexpected twist in the tale.

The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. I find this type of reading erudite and entertaining, difficult mix to manage.

There are so many, and to choose just one is a difficult task.
I have just finished 'Many Rivers to Cross' by Peter Robinson which was a 'page turner', an excellent read.
I also like Peter James, Peter May, Susan Hill, Lee Child, to name just a few.
'Pieces of Her' by Karin Slaughter was also a good read.
Give me a good book any day.

I love anything that keeps me on the edge of my seat when you can't put the book down. The last one I loved was Kathy Reich's Mortal Remains

Especially enjoying most books by Liane Moriarty. Got hooked after watching Big Little Lies on tv and then reading the book. Always gets you thinking and usually a surprise ending in store...

Born Evil by Kimberley Chambers is my favourite crime book, Once I started it I was hooked and found it hard to put down.
I Love the escapism that comes with reading thrillers, no matter where I am or what's going on in my life I can get total engrossed in a thriller novel.

The Wire in the Blood by Val Mcdermid for the marvellous suspense!

Have recently read 'One Step Behind', by Lauren North. It's a compelling story of a woman who is being stalked and harassed.

The book is so well written, with a twisty plot and several red herrings. You totally empathise with Jenna (the main character), but wonder what secrets she is keeping.

I also enjoyed reading Richard Osman's 'The Thursday Murder Club', as it had a good plot and great characters.

I enjoy psychological thrillers with interesting characters, a good twisty plot which keeps you glued to the page, and gripping drama.

I am Reading the Family upstairs at the moment and really enjoying it. I like trying to work things out and guess the twists and turns in thrillers

The Ice Killer by Ross Greenwood because it has kept me on the edge of my seat until the end.

My favourite crime/thriller series has been Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz. A gritty and explosive story that keeps you turning the pages and a dreamy lead chacacter!

I love all crime and thriller books Stuart McBride, Ian Rankin, Val McDermid but I also love the 'old' chillers The Monk, Castle of Otranto and Melmoth the Wanderer

I loved The Split. I like to be kept on my toes and not know what's coming next!

I am currently enjoying Faith Martin's books set in Oxford where I live. I have just finished A Fatal Flaw. I found it difficult to put down, which is what I look for in a thriller.

anything by Michael Connelly and John Grisham, Agatha Christie is my all time favourite since young.
