I love a good thriller, with the twists and turns that keep you guessing. My current book is always my favourite, reading The Hiding Place by Jenny Quintana at the moment.

Mine has to be "Along Came a Spider" by James Paterson the first of his books I've read, and hopefully not the last - loved the twists.
Hopefully stories like this take me out of reality, giving my daily thoughts a rest!!

An Agent of Deceit
I love the thrill of joining a world that is only fiction and hopefully will never encounter in real life.

Anything by husband and wife writers Lars Kepler. I've read all of their thrillers and they keep you turning the pages and get your heart racing. I particularly enjoyed The Stalker. There is a dark, anonymous thread running through each book and the characters themselves are really psychologically profiles. Great reads.

Cell 8 by Roslund & Hellstrom. I love the anticipation and conspiracy that wants me wanting more from them

Old school I know, but Agatha Christie's The Murder of Roger Ackroyd has the best twist. Reason I
like reading them is to try to solve the puzzle of whodunnit. Hate books where a key fact/character is introduced very late on in the story.

Ive read every one of the great Agatha Raisin books by M.C.Beaton during since just before last march, so i guess they're my favourites! I was a little disappointed that the tv version was so different to the books (characters mainly) but the books remain steadfast faves! Also Agatha Christie's are all great ones to read, AND watch.

I loved Faithless by Karin Slaughter as she bought back two interesting and very complex characters–medical examiner Sara Linton and her ex-husband, police chief Jeffrey Tolliver–in a heart-pounding tale of faith, doubt, and murder.

Right up my street!

I've really loved the Strike books, by Robert Galbraith. The twists and turns as the story progresses grabs your attention, and it's impossible to put the thing down!!

I love the Jack Reacher books, each one has a great trilling storyline

The Girl on the Train. It nice to see if I can work out who, before I reach the end.

I love all of the Lisa Gardner books as they follow an interesting background storyline about the detective in all of the thrillers that links them - and my favourite really creepy murder is 'Say Goodbye'

I always have a pile of thrillers, I enjoy anything with twists and turns where you don’t work out who dunnit until the end. I am enjoying the Rachel Lynch Detective Kelly Porter series .

Dirty White Boys by Stephen Hunter, it was my first book for ages and really kicked my enthusiasm for reading back into focus.

I like all of Lee Childs books especially " The Affair". I read thrillers because they provide an avenue of escape from everyday life.

I love 'I let you go by Claire Mackintosh'

The postscript murders by Elly Griffiths. Not a Ruth Galloway story but a fairly new and interesting series. Love reading thrillers especially those with a twist as they are unpredictable and make me want to continue reading way past bedtime.

I've only recently remembered how much I use to love reading, I use to read soppy books but now I'm enjoying thriller! My fave so far is Close to Home, I'd love to win this amazing bundle!

I like lots of thrillers, especially those with a twist at the end. I especially enjoy books set in World War 2 and I love the books by Jane Thynne. They are very interesting.
For light fluff I pick up anything by Lilian Jackson Braun or MC Beaton. I like the way I get to know the characters and where they live.

Val McDermid is a great writer, love thrillers, nothing beats being on the edge of your seat / to find out whats happening / who did it etc

I like reading James Patterson and Simon Kernick. For something a lot gentler, I really enjoy Dick Francis and his son Felix Francis. Also in the same vein, Jon Francombe.

I am a fan of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, the sign of the four was really intriguing.

If you asked for my favourite crime/thriller series, it would have been J.D. Robb's "In Death" series - but I couldn't pick one single book out of the series, so I'll plump for the extremely enjoyable Snowfall by Sharon Sala, as it had me totally engrossed and the characters felt so real that I missed them when I finished the book! I enjoy reading thrillers because they're a total escape from the real world.

Pieces of her was a fantastic read, definitely one of my favourites! I love it when you think Karin is going one way with the story and then it completely takes you by surprise with a twist - that's because she is a great writer!
