Quarantine Diversion
We hadn’t done, you know, for ages
We couldn’t remember quite when
It began with a touch
But we liked it so much
We did it all over again.
We hadn’t made, you know, for ages
It hadn’t come into our mind,
Then, flooded by lust
I felt that I must
And she said; ‘I really don’t mind.’
It hadn’t been on our agenda,
Crowded with such mundane things,
Like a favourite tie,
Not seen since July
Or a doorbell that no longer rings.
When left to our own devices,
We find things to do, do you see?
So, when left by yourself,
Take a pen from the shelf,
And write your own fantasy!
