Yes yes yes There are so many getting over it including a 95 in my county and I think today there was a 90 something (older even) on the news having recovered
There are many not even knowing they have it
There are many having it mildly
There are many have it severely but recovering
There are also many dying from other things but if they test positive they are on the death list for Covid

But they don't know! Without testing, how do you know who has had it and recovered?

I so agree, except that good news doesn't hit the headlines the same as bad news, sadly.

Well I'm "quite possibly "testament to the good news of recovering because I really thought I was a goner Christmas and New Year. I felt like a dying duck in a thunderstorm. It knocks the stuffing out of you but here I am.

Survival, in medical terms, is usually counted as still being alive 3 months later, not just getting over the initial incident.

I said that to my husband. Why can't someone tell us about the recovery statistics?

Clearly they do know who is counted as having the virus badly enough to need hospital treatment.
So they should know how many of those have recovered enough to be discharged.
Perhaps it's not mentioned as that will seem like a small number, each day, compared to the number of new cases.

My husband had an alert through on his phone to say how many had recovered from cv at our local hospital (9), but not how many had died.
