Loads of these visors for sale online, either with or without hats. Is this the latest fashion statement and would you wear it?

No and No.
However, I’m not going out anytime soon.
When GD went to Japan last year, it was fairly normal to see young girls and boys wearing masks , so I guess if others start to wear them it will become more acceptable and if this Covid 19 hangs around for too long we will have to put up with them and will be grateful to have something to protect us.

I wouldn't wear the mask, visor or hat separately, never mind all 3 together.

I wear a face mask and gloves every time I go out and I use the sanitiser available at the supermarket before I enter and when I come out.
Not got a problem with it and its pretty common where i live anyway (OH not too keen but puts up with it)!
I have to care for my Mum in sheltered housing and have to do shopping for my vulnerable daughter and Grand-daughter so as long as they are safe I don't care what I look like.
Don't think i'd use the hat & visor in the photo though LOL.

how and why do you use the sanitiser with gloves on ?

aggie,
I just spray the sanitiser on to the gloves and rub together well.

The reason I do it ?? The virus can survive for up to 3 days on hard surfaces so if an infected person has used the trolley before me i could pick it up and transfer it to my shopping bags or to myself if i were to touch my face etc etc

There is a member of staff cleaning the trolleys but he couldn't possibly get to all of them when its so busy.

I have to be ultra careful as i have several vulnerable people to care for.

I guess it would have to be normal dress before I went out wearing that, but as an oldie I'm not planning to go out. I know it would be sensible when popping to the shop for bread or milk but I have a serious aversion to looking different and I can't think anyone else round here will be wearing that!

I had a zip-up jacket on when I dashed to the local shop yesterday. It zips right up over the mouth and nose. I was sweating cobs mind you but better that than breathing inside the shop for 5 minutes. The jacket is a light washable one which is a bonus.

As for guards, no, but I fancy the summery ones with a scarf that fastens across the bridge of your nose which is a likely purchase if we have a hot summer.
