You are right, Grammaretto. I am ok working from home. Some of my family are most definitely not going to be in a good place at work.

I’m fed up with all the talk of walks and social activities. All the “jollies” of life.
We can all manage for a while if needs be, without these pleasantries.

I’m more bothered about the lower paid/very low paid people in jobs where distancing is but a dream and those employees who are expected to “do their best” at work.

I want there to be enforceable measures to make employers put all possible measures in place before the workers go back.

The Right will always make things cosy for people like themselves. The middle classes can continue to work from home and have as many leisure walks as they like.
The working class can start work in the low paid service sectors where they can't easily distance. asap.

TBH, Is it really so difficult to 'get it?'

When somebody close to you passes their driving test and ventures out alone for the first time, you hope they take care, are aware of what others might do, not take any risks and drive safely.

You don't expect them to ignore everything they've been told so far. If they do they might not only kill themselves but others as well.

It will mean different things to different people and some might find it confusing at first but is Stay Alert really so difficult to comprehend?

Our Prime Minister has been very ill, got a new baby, has to sort out a Brexit trade deal and now a pandemic, which has ruined the economy and all his plans, it's enough to make anyone but the strongest crack but, no, he bounces back as enthusiastic as ever.

I listened to a current afairs programme from Radio 4 and some man came on and complained that so many were out picknicking and artying in parks in contravention of guidelines. The police couldn't cope, we were told.

A few minutes later, someone else came on and it was 'everybody out!' back to work, exercise and walk/jog.run up hills.

Don't they discuss all this as a team, so there's one voice-one message?
Is this just confusion by people who genuinely have no idea how to govern a country, or is it an ego fight?

I heard a profile of a man called Dominic Raab and it was far from flattering and more than implied he wants to be PM. So does all this disorganisation have a deeper, Sinister-Minister meaning as in Thatcher's day?
