Investigations are being made into the deaths of 23 frail elderly patients shortly after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
Why is the media in the U.K. not reporting this?

nanna, can you mention any vaccine which has had long term side effects and how long is 'long term'?

The Sun, Express and DM have reported on it.

Well if they reported it we know there will be no bias. They are always concerned to report nothing but the truth.

Alegrias1 Thu 21-Jan-21 09:18:00

Where is "here" please nanna8?

nanna8 Thu 21-Jan-21 09:17:04

This was on our talkback radio today and they are delaying the vaccine here for a while but really it will be just that, a couple of months or so. I think they may as well get on with it really because it will be a long time before long term side effects are known and we can’t afford to wait for years. Half of us would be six foot under by then.

Espee, they were frail and elderly. Are we supposed to have herd immunity? We can't carry on without immunisation, there might be casualties but the NHS is on its knees as is the care sector, it's not fair on them. The time is approaching that we have to carry on with life, being more careful of course, but start living again. Let the people of working age go back towork and the children and students to learning.

Thanks for this link. I used to like reading his Giardian column. Hadn’t seen the TED talk. He makes it all very accessible, but he’s a very clever man

Has he been vaccinated yet? I'm sure a little prick won't hurt.

They just phoned a minute ago offering him an appointment!

Yay ! It’s really exciting to hear of all these people getting their jabs.

Make sure he ingests a spam blocker before he goes, in case Bill Gates really does want to know what he has for breakfast (or wants to spy on him on the kitchen floor).

Yogagirl This is getting funnier and funnier. Why would Pfizer put a sterility drug in the vaccine? And what has viagra got to do with it? Viagra is a help with erectile misfunction.

Sterility is something else entirely with many causes. A man who cannot, as they say, get his end up, can still be fertile and capable of fatherhood. One who can do the business can still be infertile.

The other point you seem unaware of is that viagra came out of patent last year, so if the COVID vaccine causes sterility/ erectile misfunction, whichever you fancy, those who benefit from the boom will not be Pfizer, but all those companies in India, China, etc who will be producing much cheaper generic versions of the drug, not branded versions.

Well, DH just invited me to join him on the kitchen floor.

(He's putting new kick boards under the units)
I declined, I can see them perfectly well from here.

Do people still worry about that at the moment? Well I guess that’s all there is left to do!

If anyone still thinks that the Pfizer vaccine will wreck their love life, they can read about the ingredients at www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/pfizer-covid-19-vaccine-ingredient-list and then come back and tell us which one of those ingredients is the culprit.

I think the reason for people coming up with that notion is that Pfizer make many other medicines, including one which was intended to have that very effect. That one had an ingredient (but not an active one) which is also used in other medications. This may have confused people, and once a conspiracy theory gets out there into the ether, it goes round and round for years.

Pfizer is a premier innovative biopharmaceutical company
Yogagirl

You are saying that Pfizer causes impotence
So what is confusing about my question?

Sorry I should have been more plan for you: Pfizer vaccine
Understand now?

So the Pfizer vaccine, which was actually developed by a company called BioNTech with manufacturing financed by Pfizer, causes infertility now?

Is this some kind of version of Grim Fairytales?

"manufacturing financed by Pfizer"

He who pays the piper calls the tune

'“Pfizer vaccine causes impotence “ leads to a dead end'

Was the humour unintentional?

Humours on the other hand is good Petra grin

I do wonder if people are a bit confused over the phrase "sterilising immunity" when it comes to vaccines...

I did think the same thing Alegi but different subject to impotence. Shame you spoilt your post with head falling off

I hate it when posters put stupid things, spoils the read.
