The Garland Ox pub was my local at one time and also where I sang on folk nights.
I learned later that the name may refer to Greek mythology or even a Neolithic practice of garlanding an ox before sacrifice.
Jan I hope you're safely home and MrJ is feeling well. I must admit that you lived my holiday dream - eating out so often. 
It's something I don't often get to do now, having no transport and living miles away from any cafe or restaurant.
But when my son came over on Friday, we had a lovely morning tea at Columbus Cafe and lunch at a local fish restaurant. Bliss 
I hope Grammaretto is back this weekend, I've missed her a lot and I don't know what we'll do without our Doodle pulling all the gang threads together.
Good to hear that Panache is up to posting. I hope Cherry, Nortsat, Nfk and others are all improving, we've lost so many it seems.
