The Sun (apologies, but they got the scoop) has published a picture od Matt Hancock in a steamy embrace with a woman he sneaked into a job at DHSC last November, the story is that they have been carrying on an affair in the office since then. The hypocrisy of him calling for Neil Ferguson spelling amended by GNHQ at OP's request to be sacked for his lockdown breaking affair cannot be overestimated.

GillT57 oh that youtube clip is hilarious! Can't believe how quickly these parodies are put together.

“I was just trying to flatten her curves “ insists Matt Hancock.

The hypocracy is obviously unbelievable but will the Tory voter pay attention to that?

So Hancock flouting social distancing is a matter “now closed”
But the rest of us who have behaved are still unable to travel abroad to see relatives.

I’m really rather cross. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

It will be interesting to see if he appears on TV anytime soon.

You don’t get it do you.

The Tories may well be constantly having affairs etc, but the issue is the use of public money, the sleaze and corruption etc.

We are back to those who give a toss and those who don't. Too many people just writing it off as what we have come to expect.

Calm down folks it’s not like he’s bought a field for his disabled mum’s donkey sanctuary or drank a mojito on a train.

Or gone to work wearing different coloured shoes!

“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a Van-Tam.” (Sorry, I needed a giggle today.)

Thanks, growstuff! Made me giggle on a not much to giggle about day

He’s apologised for “breaking social distancing rules” - not for cheating on his wife or giving a job to his lover.

Can't say any of this government have any integrity.
So whilst people were dying on their own, rearranging weddings multiple times and not seeing grandchildren, Hancock thinks he is above the rules he insists we lesser beings must keep.

I'll leave this here as well:

I'm wearing some glittery cat socks from Oliver Bonas right now. It's been my daughter's "go to" company for buying my Christmas presents for years.

I'm not sure what this really has to do with the OP.

Oliver Bonas is Ms.Condeligio’s (sp?) husband’s company.

I know, but I don't suppose her husband encouraged the liaison as a way of marketing his company.

This is between Hancock and Coladangelo.

Someone will be along soon to say he deserves a bit of extramarital nookie after he’s had such a struggle with the pandemic poor chap….

vegansrock Fri 25-Jun-21 17:26:51

I wouldn’t like to be at the Hancock’s dinner table this evening. No I wouldn’t
be supporting a Labour or any other politician behaving in such a grubby way.

Curlywhirly Fri 25-Jun-21 17:20:57

He's sorry for breaking social distancing rules? Well, from those pictures, that's a blummin' understatement! No mention of the humiliation he's caused his poor wife. His statement makes it look like his only regret is not abiding by his own covid rules.
He's just piling even more humiliation on the poor woman. What a despicable man.

He really is the last person I would have expected to be having a steamy affair.

Yes, he has, allegedly, behaved in a hypocritical way and questions now need to be answered.

If he does do the decent thing now, he will resign.

I'm almost past caring what any of them do. But comment of the week has to go to Adam Wagner, a barrister from Doughty Street Chambers who is an expert on the lockdown restrictions.

Based on what we know, this seems to me to have been an illegal gathering.

Her husband is behind Oliver Bonas the fabulous jewellery, fashion & homeware company.

I have never heard of this company, but have just googled, and there are some lovely things, in fact am tempted to order a blue green tree palm print midi dress, just the sort of thing I have been looking for, so thanks.smile
