Sorry I mean they're getting more severe side effects from a vaccine but the virus has a 99percent survival rate. It doesn't stop transmission, and covid continues to mutate which probably makes the vaccine useless.

Itsawelshthing I reported is as Icke is, amongst other things, a racist.

I'm not against vaccines ive had majority of mine but this is still on trial until 2023 and people are already getting severe side effects from a virus that's 99 percent survival rate. This is just my view on it and I still adhere to the rules, I wear masks and ppe, and I don't socialise with anyone except my family any way because I don't see or know anyone x

There have been panics and feelings of doom in every generation, it is nothing new. And yet the world survives.
There is nothing sinister going on.
The only way forward out of this corona virus pandemic is for the whole population to be vaccinated. It is a great pity that you feel differently. You are putting yourself, and others, at risk. If you insist that it is your right, then you should surely stay away from people and all those places which you wish to go to.
David Icke is not worth listening to.

I understand what you are all saying but I still think it is wrong to mandate vaccines. I've no idea why my post has been reported for?

I don't want to have Covid. Surely I have a right to choose not to be infected?

Can't you see the conflict there between people's rights? In the end, the right not to die has to come before the right to refuse a vaccine that has been rigorously tested for safety, surely? And nobody is saying that you have to have it - just that if you want to mix in places where a lot of people gather you should respect their rights.

This - in a nutshell.

It is a very difficult subject. And the right of individuals and the protection of others, is often a hard balance.

Look at the MMR debacle. To be effective, any vaccination programme has to have a significant proportion of take up- 70% minimum, and up to 90% for best cover. So if all those individuals want to use their freedom not to be vaccinated- they put the whole population at risk, less for vaccinated persons, more for others ... Do you still visit people who are vulnerable, Your grand-parents, for instance?

What about your freedom not to wear a seat belt, or stop at traffic lights? You have the right not to - but then don't get in a car- or it will be very dangerous for others.

You have the right to refuse- but it has consequences. And this even more if you work as carer of any kind for elderly or other vulnerable people.

David Icke is also a racist.

Do you not have friends or family to chat to? You seem to be getting things out of proportion. I have a very good friend who is "anti vax" but I asked if he thought it was a good thing when it's against, for example, smallpox or polio and he backed down a bit. When parents refused to let their child have the MMR injection, a breakout of measles (which can be serious) followed as night follows day. David Icke thinks we are really all lizards so probably not the best person to listen to. hmm

doodledog yes, yes, yes, over and over! Just for once, let’s really think about others in the society in which we live and silence the conspiracy theorists.

Take heed of 25Avalon that's what I would say too.

The same David Icke who said he was the son of the godhead and predicted the world would end in 1997!

He is a conspiracy theorist who makes lots of unfounded predictions. A very dangerous man. Be very careful about believing anything he says.

Yes the world does feel very unsafe and actually unpredictable at present. I have had two vaccinations not just for me but for everyone else. It does not give full protection but your chances of survival and without nasty side effects are dramatically increased. It can reduce transmission because the viral load is reduced.

I know someone in their 50’s and overweight who had both jabs but still caught covid and was very ill at home for about a week but is now fully recovered. Without the vaccination it probably would have meant hospitalisation or even ventilator and possible death.

There are many unvaccinated people seriously ill and dying who were covid deniers saying how they wish they had been vaccinated. It is your choice whether to be vaccinated or not but please be very careful about listening and believing someone like David Icke.

There's nothing sinister going on . This type of thing has happened before in public health. In the 1950s there were polio outbreaks and the city I lived in was the first in the country to introduce the new oral vaccine in 1961. The whole of the city's population were vaccinated within a few days. www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/health/how-heroic-mass-vaccination-programme-saved-children-hull-paralysis-explosive-polio-outbreak-1961-3038681
We have been very lucky that most illnesses now are controlled, but there have been epidemics in the past and people complied with vaccination rules. Have your jab, it will give you and the people you work with some protection.

But I don't want to have it. Surely I have a right to choose what I want in my body, not the government? (I don't mean this in a nasty way by the way! Sorry if it came across like that) x

Over a year into this pandemic with no end in sight, in fact things have gotten worse than ever before. Now they have mandated that care home workers need to have the covid vaccine in order to continue working in care, which is already under staffed and under paid. I am from England but currently live in Wales, I also work in care (tested every single week and I worked my backside off when we had covid outbreak as we was extremely short staffed), and I am in fear of losing my job and my livelihood.

I am almost 30 years old, I have no health conditions, I eat a healthy diet and keep very fit. I have made an informed choice by myself that I do not want to have the vaccine, based on my research but also because I really don't need it. The vaccine does not stop transmission or catching the virus so what's the point me having an experimental vaccine for? I am feeling very on edge about all of this. Slowly I feel like I will no longer be allowed to go on holiday, go abroad, go to pubs, clubs, or any other venues, maybe even supermarkets - unless I am forced to get the vaccine. Is anyone not seriously worried about this? It's not about the virus at all.. Its all about coercion and control by this government and politicians. David Icke predicted this was going to happen and he was absolutely right. They're not talking about cashless and staff less society and in supermarkets where cameras will follow you everywhere... What the hell is this? I never thought to say this but I am really frightened. sad I have yet to see a lot more in this world but please someone must see that there is something very sinister going on?
