No idea what self-isolation means.

Quizzer, I've come to the very sad conclusion, lately, that there are even more selfish, stupid people around than I'd ever imagined.

They just seem incapable of following the simplest instructions - or always think that they know better, so rules don't apply to them.

The selfishness gets to me the most. The complete disregard for the safety and welfare of others just astounds me

Well, cataract surgery is hardly life saving is it? Unless of course you take into account the persons social life. The person in question should be put to the bottom of the waiting list for sheer stupidity and inconsideration for others!
She might argue the point that her friends did a LFT prior to the meet-up but NO ONE can know who they've been in contact with can they? What about the waiting staff, taxi drivers, bus drivers etc who could have been potential contacts to those at the restaurant!
People's stupidity, negligence, inconsideration and lack of common sense is the main cause of the spread of the virus.

I disagree H1954 cataract surgery is definitely life saving when your sight is seriously impaired.

Some months ago I heard a woman tell someone on the phone that she was out shopping with her children who had Covid and had been sent home from school. Apparently it's ridiculous to expect two young children to stay in the house on a nice day.

Hopefully her operation was given to someone who wanted it.,
