I have had Moderna twice, Pfizer twice, AstraZeneca twice, and Sanofi Pasteur once: nothing more than a soreness in the arm for a couple of days with any of them.

We have had Pfizer in the past, but this time had Moderna Spikevax(sp)?
Both had sore arms, and a bit shivery, I had achey wrists, but the effects didn't last long.

I had my booster last Thursday, by Sunday I was feeling quite unwell. The symptoms were worrying and I have taken covid tests and they are positive.
I have had 8 vaccinations and managed to avoid covid for four years until now.
I only leave the house once a week for an hour so I am guessing I caught it at the pharmacy where I had the vaccination.

That’s really unlucky harrigran. Will that affect your holiday? I think I’ve read you’re going away soon?

I had mine on Tuesday.
I had the sorest arm I have had in all my vaccinations, Covid and flu etc.
It was so sore I could hardly grasp anything but it wasn’t painful.
It lasted about 18 hours, no other symptoms.

I had the Moderna Spikevax and had the worst reaction I've ever had - very painful arm with a raised red hard lump and a red ring of inflammation surrounding it, which lasted 6 days, plus 36 hours of bad 'fluey symptoms.

I hope all this means that it's very effective!

I had mine a week ago - moderna. The following day was painful at the injection site but it was back to normal after a couple of days. It sounds as though I've been lucky.

Georgesgran I rang DD yesterday and told her that I had tested positive and if she was uncomfortable with sharing a car and cottage with me then I would stay home and they could go on their own. She has had it twice and SIL caught it travelling to Brussels but DD did not catch it off him even though they shared a bed. She said it would be a shame to miss out on my holiday as it is also my birthday on Sunday. We leave today and I have lots of masks, medical quality for enclosed spaces. Thankfully I don't cough much during the day, tends to be during the night.
