Sending you a big cwtch Doodle It's still really early days and big events like Christmas are bound to bring back memories of days past. Let them wash over you and weep if helps. I hope today is a little easier for you. It's so true that love never dies.
Oh Kaimoana , that is such a disappointment for you, to be so close to the sea and yet so far and no singing either, I hope you weren't in too much pain after the journey, that really would be an insult wouldn't it.
I'm sat in radiology just now as they've brought my scan forward to today. They are going to do the x-ray afterwards too so I won't have to come back again next week which is a big relief as walking is a challenge to say the least just now
I am hoping they will be able to get the results input to the program really quickly and then hopefully a date in January
Ixion...I hope you are sleeping better now, I saw there is a thread for other peeps who are awake in the early hours....and there are lots of them it seems.
Grammaretto....lots of luck today calling the St Bernards dance....the way I am at the moment I'd need the brandy to even stand up but fingers crossed I'll be able to dance again soon.
Thank you for all your lovely birthday messages, it was a much better day mentally than last year thankfully. There will always be that sadness that I can't be sharing it with my girls and grandsons but my change in how I look at the situation has definitely helped me cope. DH drove me around as I wanted to drop off some warm coats to church, they collect them for the homeless. He also did the charity shop run, little things but they must a lot to me. A surf and turf dinner at home washed down with some champagne was a lovely way to end the day.
NS... Thank you for your email too.I hope you DMiL is ok and the wheezing is improving.
Love to you all
