Come on, India! Modernise!

I once worked with a lovely young woman who is a Muslim. Her family are practising Muslims but not strict & did want her to maintain some of the modesty laws in the Q'ran. The compromise to her wanting to dress in a more 'street' style was to wear skinny jeans & a tight top..but that top had to cover her shapely bottom! The situation was not really any different from any parent trying to keep some 'control' of their teenagers!

You get to see some very stylish and glamorous Muslim girls in London. They have the headscarves and their own take on fashion.

and I think that sometimes the general public forget that there are many, many Muslims just getting on with their lives and hoping like most other non Muslims for a peaceful life!
