Even my nearly 90 yr old mother was bopping at the end of Mama Mia. We'd been upgraded to a box and the bar was through the door at the back so that might have had something to do with it.

I can't get disinhibited. It just feels false - and embarrassing!

I hate it when people in front of me get too enthusiastic and start leaning forward so that I can't see. The group in the OP sound lovely though.

Oh yes! Mama Mia; We will Rock You and best of all Chas and Dave. DH taps his feet but I sing and wave my arms which I'm sure he finds embarrassing

All three DDs and I went o see the stage version of Dirty Dancing which was totally ruined by the people all around us joining in and dancing. They had obviously seen it dozens of times but we couldn't see a flipping thing. Most of them had had a tad too much to drink as well and didn't take kindly to be asked to sit down!

I was so incensed that I started a thread!

I am always on my feet singing and dancing when they reprise the songs at the end. If I go to a concert (Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi etc., ) I am on my feet the whole time

I was on my feet singing, albeit many years ago when I saw "We will Rock You". Not at the beginning but towards the end the entire audience were on their feet and singing.
