No need to get your knickers in a twist mabon. We can all appreciate that Bryn Terfel is a hugely talented singer and often uses the Welsh language to add humour to his performances. Your children's schooling is not terribly relevant.

Why is it funny because he is singing in Welsh please? Welsh is his first language, the first language of our family and friends. My children and grandchildren all speak Welsh, they attended Welsh Medium Schools, and all have done well in life, they live all over the place including England. Are you a monoglot I wonder or a bigot maybe?

I have a wonderful recording of Bryn Terfel singing "If I was a Rich Man" with his usual character and verve - it is so funny as he is singing it in Welsh.
