LullyDully Those were the days. You could just turn up and queue to see some great musicians and not at vast expense.

Many of the 'oldies' play even better now than when they were younger. Luckily there's still some venues where you can see them play.

Al Stewart. Yes.

We used to go to a folk club in Soho called Les Cousins. He was one of my favourites. Paul Simon rolled up one night and Bert Jansch was a regular.

We saw Al Stewart in Bournemouth a couple of years ago.....still good but not so attractive sadly. ?

Heading down to Glasgow for an Al Stewart gig on Wednesday.
In 1984, when we were dating, we had our first weekend away together to see him play in Edinburgh. Nostalgic moment ?
