Cliff Richard thinks that maybe “it’s time to gracefully exit the Chippendales market,” Sir Cliff says in his book.

I actually feel sick.

I did take a Grandmotherly look at those nice young men, thank you, Elegran.
As for Cliff, it is not just his body that is ageing but his voice as well. I hope he retires gracefully.

Thank you Elegran
It made me nostalgic for Australia and all the exotic animals I'm missing wink

sarahcyn Fri 30-Oct-20 14:06:00

@Elegran thank you for that highly cultural link.

Puzzler61 Fri 30-Oct-20 13:59:09

Do you think soop would allow one in her Kitchen? Amongst the pet gallery?

Puzzler61 Fri 30-Oct-20 13:57:11

It would have been rude not to look when you kindly provided a link Elegran and those are lovely pictures. I would be very pleased to find a copy of that calendar in my Christmas stocking. Are you getting one?

Lucca Fri 30-Oct-20 13:53:27

In uniform plus Irish accent

Elegran Fri 30-Oct-20 13:51:11

So none of you will be taking a quick look at this calendar of
Australian firefighters with cats etc? There are some lovely pics of cuddly animals.

LG, I agree!

lemongrove Fri 30-Oct-20 13:08:17

I had no idea that Cliff posed for any calendars at all, clothed or otherwise.Am not a fan in any case.
Men do look better clothed ( or partly clothed at any rate.)
Even better in uniform?

Granny23

It is a biological fact that while most men are turned on by pictures of nakkit women, few women find pictures of nakkit men arousing, Calendars or Magazines with pictures of hunky men are aimed at the Gay market.

Ooh, I don't know Granny23 - remember this pic of Burt Reynolds in Cosmopolitan in the early 70s?

He reckoned it was the reason he didn't get the deserved Oscar for 'Deliverance'!

If on a diet to lose weight his calendar in the kitchen may help , yuck

Quite. I was half way through a cup of tea when I saw it and couldn't drink the second half.

Millie22 Fri 30-Oct-20 11:22:26

Nakkit women!

jaylucy Fri 30-Oct-20 11:17:50

I like Cliff and have met him on one occasion and he's a nice man- easy to chat to but like many in their own little bubble due to their fame, seemed quite naive about some things!
However, he is now 80 I think so should keep his shirt on!
Bet the pics in previous years were recycled ones from when he was in his 30s or 40s and photoshopped with the correct hairstyle!
I mean, can you imagine Daniel O'Donnell with his shirt off ?

No thanks ...now Aidan Turner I just might consider ?

Blinko Fri 30-Oct-20 10:32:36

Dear Heavens, no! A thousand times, no.

Blossoming Fri 30-Oct-20 10:26:04

Henry Cavill sans shirt, yes please. Cliff Richard sans shirt, no thanks.

Callistemon Fri 30-Oct-20 10:20:33

It showed a bronzed, well muscled chest.
It can't have been him - he's always been skinny!

I agree Iam64

The mind boggles at anyone wanting to buy a calendar of a topless man of 75, or at any age for that matter and certainly not of Cliff Richard, I don't dislike him or anything, even when he was prone to flail around like a windmill under the guise of dancing, and not even when he recorded that "Mistletoe and Wine" shite wintery song my son's class were forced to sing at Christmas shock I hold none of that against him. He just isn't my cup of tea, maybe Brad Pitt in his "Thelma and Louise" days looked the business shirtless. I still wouldn't buy a calendar of any beefcake like specimen. I'm happy with cats thank you very much. I particularly like it when they're doing yoga, a friend bought me such a calendar one year and it proved a wonderful inspiration with my own yoga endeavours, although I still can't get my leg up behind my ear in that effortless feline way sad

Calendargirl Fri 30-Oct-20 09:48:34

On the Piers Morgan interview the other night, a picture was shown of Cliff topless when about 75 I think.
It showed a bronzed, well muscled chest.
I did wonder if it was really him, or just his head on another (younger) body.
He is very vain.

PECS Fri 30-Oct-20 09:44:05

I get accused of being a prude when I won't like or share hunky/'sexy' men photos. I always explain why!grin
A bare chested elderly or young Cliff Richard...nooooo!

FannyCornforth Fri 30-Oct-20 09:36:57

Yes. Humans are better clothed.

FannyCornforth Fri 30-Oct-20 09:36:05

I agree Iam64
"Get 'em on!!" springs to mind.

GagaJo Fri 30-Oct-20 09:35:42

Well, me too, Iam64. As I say to my male students who I occasionally see topless. If you don't want to see my nipples, don't show me yours.
