Monday 30th April weigh in

I'm still losing every week, but had lunch out yesterday in a very nice hotel, so today the scales are saying I've only lost 1lb. Lunch was to celebrate youngest (widowed) daughter's engagement and meet her (delightful) future in-laws. Off to Edinburgh for a couple of days now with the Wonderful Man and determined to ensure that I don't put on a single ounce whilst I'm away - daughter's wedding will be in the summer and I want to drop another dress size for it.

I've lost 1 lb this week, and am near to a stone lost since Christmas. Last year, I lost a stone but it took me all year, so that's some improvement. I keep checking my wardrobe to see what else fits me - there a lovely slim pencil skirt that I only wore twice, and if I can get in that soon, there's lots of tops that will match and complement it. A few more walks with the dog would help, so bring on the fine weather so we can wander round for a good hour instead of dashing in and out to avoid the rain

Oh I do hope you're right about the weather glass! It's been awful down here....cold and wet and howling wind all week. Seems a bit calmer this morning, fingers crossed.
I've had a few off message moments this week....3 packets of Refreshers anyone? What's all that about? Plus, the bad weather has stopped me getting out for a walk each day. So I was quite relieved to weigh myself this morning and find that I've stayed the same.
Only 4 weeks to my holiday, so I'm going to try really hard to lose a few more pounds before I go.

Glass this isn't cheering me up. 2.9 lb on!! Not surprising really as bad arthritic knee and have been hardly able to walk this week even with a stick. Also agonising pain seems to require frequent medication with chocolate. And the weight will make the pain worse. Hope your week has been better and less complicated?

morning jingle some of Vera was filmed at the shopping centre on the estate I lived when I was a teenager when we left the RAF, it was state of the art in the 60/70's but they are pulling it down at the moment. (dont watch Vera but old friends have mentioned it on FB)
