Oh dear! Diet ruined this weekend, with wine, ice cream, BBQ goodies and high calorie salad dressings. No wonder I've lost nothing. On the plus side, my fridge is now empty of the naughty stuff and in this hot weather I will eat lots of salads and healthy fruits and veg this week, so intend to get back on track. I really must get down another dress size, otherwise I'll be buying tee shirts and summer skirts I don't need, when I have sufficient in my wardrobe.

Sbagran since starting that idea of reporting in during the evening so we can avoid fridge-surfing, I've stopped wandering in and out of the kitchen, so some progress there - my downfall now is when I'm with family and friends and the wine and tempting goodies are being handed round.

3.1 lb off in the last two weeks. Think this is 90% stress, 5% mouth ulcers . The last bit is eating a range of healthy foods from very small bowls slowly instead of piling it all on a plate. Still can't move much but hoping when I can will help.

I just don't understand it, I've been away staying with my sons for 11 of the last 14 days and eaten all sorts of things I would not normally eat, big bowls of pasta three times, chips and mayo once, cake, wonderful walnut bread, butter, cheese, buns, bread and potatoes. I didn't eat anywhere near the amount of fruit I normally eat or the variety of vegetables (lots of brocolli and beans), so why have I lost weight? I'm down 1.4 lbs.

I've just had blueberries and weightwatchers yoghurt for breakfast which should be lower in calories than a banana sandwich or walnut bread! Can it really be bad to eat a lot of fruit and not much carbs?

I would love to lose a stone before I go on holiday at the end of July.

Hi good morning this week I am back on the thread to loose some more for the up and coming wedding I am going to in September,I tried on 2 dresses on Friday and the favourite shows just a few lumps and bumps so I need to loose another 12lbs ? am now at 10.8lbs,to-day I am going swimming and getting the timetable for the over 60s free swims programme at local baths,and I will walk there and back (that is the idea up to now ) ?
