I've decided to draw a line in the dust and radically change what I eat. I've lost a lot but still have lots to go, and I've been 'stuck' for several months now. I've become a bit too complacent, allowed myself some treats, then been fed up with the slight weight gain/weeks & weeks of no weight loss.
So I've decided to give the high protein/low carb route a go for a little while, to see if the complete change of food intake will jolt my system back into losing weight again. I like the discipline of being so specific about what I eat, it helps me to focus.
So having drawn a line in the dust, I'm going to count next week as Week 1, and I wont be posting either a gain or loss for this week. (It wouldn't have been a loss
)
Another thing that's prompted me to get a move on again, is a photograph of myself taken 30 years ago that I came across recently. So slim! All done with a prescription of amphetamines (those were the days) so as soon as the drugs stopped, the weight all went back on again, plus a lot more. The photo is now on my fridge door.
Good luck to everyone else this week!
(By the way, when I was taking amphetamines was the only time in my adult life that I've done housework every day
)
